7 Bird Supplies Your Parrot Cannot Live Without
1.       A bird cage. This goes without saying, right? But it is important that you purchase an adequate parrot cage for your bird. If it’s a small bird, a finch cage may do just fine. If you’ve adopted a larger breed, you will need a much bigger bird cage.

2.       Toys. Birds love to play, so they need dozens of toys. Your bird supply stash should consist of rope toys, wooden toys, leather toys and whatever else you can find. Cages by Design’s hanging toys include all of these textures bundled together in one great unit. Your bird will love it.

3.       Swings. Nothing is cuter than watching your parrot swing & sing in delight.

4.       Playstands. Your bird supplies chest is not complete without one of these. A playstand allows your bird to be out of his parrot cage and have his own spot in the house. The Sandblasted playstand is steely gray in color and has an elegant appearance. Perfect for the upscale, modern-looking home.

5.       Feeding dishes. We recommend having at least 2-3 extra feeding dishes in your pile of bird supplies. You never know when one of them may crack, disappear or accidently get chewed up.

6.       Perches. You should provide your bird with a minimum of 3 perches—even in a small finch cage. Just like we need different types of shoes, birds need various perches. Therapeutic perches are made out of course material which helps trim your bird’s nails. Calcium perches provide your pet with small doses of this vital nutrient. And rope perches are just plain fun & colorful.

7.       Ladders. Birds are born climbers. So when making out a list of bird supplies, be sure to include this item. Your bird will find endless hours of delight climbing his ladder.
