Parrotlet Cage
The parrotlet has been described as a tiny bird with a big personality. Although small, these birds need a good sized parrotlet cage. The birdcage should be a minimum of 18” x 18”. The reason for this is because parrotlets are extremely active. They spend hours swinging, climbing, playing with toys and just having fun. Obviously they need a parrotlet cage that is large enough for them to move around in.

If you plan on purchasing more than one parrotlet, a sectional cage divider is important. These little birds can be ferocious and aggressive towards other parrots. They simply do not know how to share anything, including food, toys and their owner’s attention. They are quick to become jealous, angry and aggressive. Unless you are willing to purchase various parrotlet cages, a divider is non-negotiable.
